How I Got Here

I never thought that this would be my actual career. I went to massage school to find pain relief solutions for my husband who has been a type-1 diabetic since the age of 14yr. The more I researched about diabetic complication the more I found how massage could help pain such as nephropathy.

I completed the 900-hour program and enrolled in the 450-hour Advance Neuromuscular program NHI where I had access to cadaver labs and learned how muscle, tendons, ligaments and the nervous system are connected and the impact of trauma, illness, and injury on the body. Working with military members adjusting to prosthetics and phantom pain was a life changer. It is where I saw massage becoming my purpose.

It has been 12-years since I started this journey and I am proud to say I have helped people of all walks of life. I weave together energetic and physical healing designed specifically to the needs of each client.

The Approach

My  approach to treating clients is guided by the latest research in the areas of neuroscience and pain science. We use a varied combination of sensory experiences to down-regulate the sympathetic nervous system and encourage neuroplastic activity in the brain. The mind-body connection is the link between a person’s thoughts, attitudes, and behaviors and their physical health.   The brain is a remarkable and complex organ. But the brain is not a machine operating separately from the rest of the body—the two are deeply intertwined.  By viewing massage therapy as a brain therapy as much as a body therapy, we are able to help our clients restore balance to their entire nervous system, which in turn helps heal the body.

Pain has a pattern. When you come in for your session there is no guessing what soft tissue is contributing to your pain we are well verse in the pain patterns of the body. I look forward to getting you pain relief  you deserve!
